Sedation services at West End Dental Centre are arranged through our general practice. We are not a hospital or a specialist anaesthesia clinic. Suitability is assessed individually, and not every patient or procedure is a candidate.
General Anesthesia
General anesthesia is used so that a patient is unconscious during treatment. It may be considered for extensive dental procedures or for patients whose anxiety or medical needs make other approaches unsuitable. Your dentist will explain the reasons, the process, and any alternatives before a decision is made.
